None of the Above

Here's a question that's been bouncing around in all the free space left in my skull...

Could I be elected president if I manged to get my name changed legally to "none of the above" and get enough signatures to get on the ballots?

Warning! Rant below!

I had an interesting conversation with my Critical Thinking Professor the other day. He told the class that he did not vote because, "I did not want to vote for oil or ketchup."
That statement blew my mind. Even if the choices suck and a person ends up voting not to vote FOR someone but AGAINST someone else, it still important to not take for granted the freedom that we have to vote and elect someone who at least represents some our beliefs and values.
