This is on the front page of the site right now, but I wanted to say how proud I am of Brandon.
A while ago he was nominated for the Lightner Foundation Youth Leadership program. He worked really hard at his application process, interviewing Chief Wilson from Falls Fire Department, writing an essay, and practicing for the interview process. He accepted into the program, one of 30 children chosen from his grade in all of wake county.
It's nice seeing him work so hard on something, and having it pay off.
